Weapons are dropped periodically throughout Dead Cells by enemies. These weapons have their own specific skills, damage bonuses, and combo durations. Weapons with multiple skills are also added. The types of weapons listed in this wiki are:
A swift downwards stab and an upwards slash in quick succession
This is a dagger-type melee weapon that deals critical damage when hitting enemies from behind.
A series of 2 rapid, upwards slashes
This is a sword-type melee weapon that inflicts bleeding on enemies.
Two overhead slashes, followed by a third slash crossing the blades.
These sword-type weapons deal a critical hit on the third strike of a combo when hitting an enemy.
Three slashes, with the second and third dealing critical hit damage.
This melee-type weapon has a longer combo duration but deals critical hits on the second and third hits of every combo.
A dash through enemies, dealing critical hits.
The katana has a special attack that is charged if the attack button is held down while using it.
A series of slashes, followed by a stab.
The Giantkiller is a melee-style weapon that always deals critical hits to Elites and Bosses.
The War Javelin knocks back all enemies in its path when it is thrown.
The weapon can be used to teleport to a location where it is thrown as well. When the Javelin is thrown, the attack key can be pressed again to teleport the player to the weapon. This weapon is exclusive to the Rise of the Giant DLC.
The Explosive Crossbow has both a ranged and melee attack.
The Repeater Crossbow has two different attacks with two equipment slots.
These gauntlets deal critical damage to enemies under 40% health.
The Rampart Shield has a higher damage reduction on block than most other shields.
Parrying an attack freezes nearby enemies.
