At the University
Junior Design Arm
In Junior Design, we had to take an alternative approach to the curriculum due to COVID. This involved the design (but not assembly) of a six-DOF robot arm.
My team did the job, but being stuck within my room due to COVID, and having a printer next to my bed, I decided to build the assembly.
I was able to create some general stabilization code, and the project was a breeze given that we could physically back up the validity of our design.
Looking back, there were many nights I slept next to the printer as it was running. It's a good thing I wasn't printing with more hazardous materials...
