Assignment4

Problem statement
A typical problem for running shoes is spike damage when walking on hard surfaces causing decreased spike performance. The purpose of this design is to prevent spike damages with a durable design that can slide over a running shoe, lift a runner over shoe spikes and support distributed loads with an engineered shoe sole.
Degrees of Freedom
The designs all have one primary degree of freedom which is translation in the x direciton.

Lessons Learned
1)How to make linear patterns in Solidworks
2)How to transfter and organize large numbers of files quickly when adding to the website
3)Modules rerquire more specific analysis in the design process than previous strategies and concepts.
Advisee comments
Advisee 1 (Cody Davis): Not up at the time of checking, but I'm sure it will turn out good. I would recommend that you continue your solid models from the previous assignment for the subassemblies.
Picked Advisee (Grayson Roberts): Your design for a custom intake design looks good. Solid Models are very detailed. I would recommend adding some more calculations to your alalysis like mechanical advantage and dynamics.
