The Crucial Ballistix MAX RGB RAM is a solid choice. This RAM kit uses in-house chips made by Micron, which owns the Crucial brand. These RAM kits are special because they use 16-bit modules instead of 8-bit compared to most RAM at the time. RAM kits with different modules affect the performance on some CPUs like AMD. With AMD, the more condensed the modules are, the better latency AMD CPUs can access this memory. Intel CPUs aren't affected much, but it still provides a slight boost. The RAM also comes in larger capacities because of its condensed modules. The RAM comes with RGB, but it's recommended to turn it off as there is no software to run it effectively. The colors also look washed out; reds look more like a whitish pink, for example. The RGB strips are also 3D printed and can be changed with custom 3D sets if the user wants to do so.
Overall, this RAM has its positives and negatives.
