The Lian Li P28 Fans are among the first fans to be based on daisy-chainable technology, connecting up to four fans to a single fan header. The fans cool relatively well and they are black, which helps them blend in with any build. The fans can link up to 4 together on a single fan connector, and their speed can be adjusted manually with a switch behind the motor. This manual adjustment is not recommended; it's better to adjust the speed in the motherboard BIOS settings. The bearing is slightly exposed, giving them a more professional look. One downside is that the fans rev to 100% speed for 3 seconds upon startup before settling to the RPM set in the BIOS, which can be annoying to some users. Additionally, the fans are slightly thicker than most fans of their size, which can cause installation issues.
