Graduating from Columbia College with a bachelor's degree in computer science was just the beginning of my journey into the world of technology. For five years, I had the privilege of working as an Application Programmer at MBS Textbook Exchange, a company owned by Barnes & Noble. Then, I realized I wanted to delve deeper into the theories and concepts that underpin the technology I had been working with. Pursuing a Ph.D. in Software and Informations System seemed like the perfect way to bridge the gap between practical experience and academic exploration.
