Bio


Oluwagbeminiyi "Rest" Johnson is currently a PhD student in Computing and Information Systems at University of North Carolina, Charlotte, USA. Rest received a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Newberry College in Newberry, South Carolina, USA. He graduated with honors in Mathematics accompanied with the Newberry College George B. Cromer Award for exceptional academic excellence, leadership ability and personal integrity. Rest is also a member of the Pi Mu Epsilon Mathematical Honors Society.


Research Interest and Experience


Research Interests

Worked as a Mathematics Tutor at Newberry College after co-developing the Student Instructor(SI) Program. Developed interests in cognitive improvement, and the role of Reinforcement Learning and Artificial Intelligence in training the working memory. Started research work and continued to a Doctorate degree in Computing and Information Systems.

Jenzabar Intern

Worked on the formation of reports through database manipulation and utilizing the program of Jenzabar, and international data company | Assisted the registrar team at Newberry College in the formation of Ineligible and Probation reports, along with other reports on registration
