Today we're going to get acquainted with the course materials and requirements. I'm hoping to use this Web page an Moodle2 for all class needs--notes, readings not in the books, tests and exams, course policies, etc.

For Thursday

Make sure you get the books and get onto Moodle2 (section open tomorrow, 8/21) to post a little bit about yourself. There's no reading for Thursday, but we'll be going over how to interpret Literature and what it means to "read" through a cultural studies lens. The readings for the first three weeks are on the syllabus, so you might want to start getting ahead. Remember, there's quite a bit of reading this semester.
