We looked at the following problem from the first test in Math 1100 last semester.
What is the value of |3-pi|?
A. 1/7 B. 0.14 C. 3+pi D. pi-3 E. 3-pi
It was pointed out that students would have to access the web site for the course to print out copies of the assignments and the vital information for the first day. Tune in Wednesday to see why so many students answered B, which is wrong.
