Brief review of the lecture

What's a polynomial? Is 10x a polynomial? Why or why not.
If F and G are two given functions we can construct their sum, their product, their difference, or their quotient. How do we find the domain of such a function? Its just the intersection of the domains of F and G.
How do a,b,c, and d effect the graph of the function f if y=af(b(x+c)) +d? Note that this is just a composition of the form gofoh where g and h are linear functions. We'll talk more about composition of functions next time.
