Dimension -
- General - Any parameter
which is used to describe a system and/or its state.
- The number of elements or coordinates in a state descriptor or vector.
- In Manufacturing Metrology -
- (1)Any particular spacial property of an object, objects, or the relationship
between them. Example: The hole has a nominal diameter dimension of
10 mm.
- (2) verb - the process of specifying the dimensions on an engineering
drawing.
