About Me
I am a PhD candidate at Complex Systems lab of University of North Carolina at Charlotte, USA. My advisor is Prof. Mirsad Hadzikadic. I received my B.Sc and M.Sc degrees in computer science with EXCELLENT GPAs from Jordan University of Science and Technology (JUST), Jordan. I worked as a full time instructor at JUST, 2007-2015, before I was awarded a scholarship from JUST to pursue a PhD at UNCC in 2015. My research interests lie in the area of Programming Languages, Data Mining, Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing, Algorithms, Deep Learning, and Artificial Intelligent. I am currently working on different projects of extracting people’s opinions and emotions from multilingual text (mainly English and Arabic) posted on social media.To know more information about me, please click here for my CV.
