Our Team

Caleb Basham
Caleb Basham is originally from Northern Virginia, but was raised in Raleigh, NC. He is currently a Freshman at UNC Charlotte majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Caleb has always had a passion for STEM and specifically robotics. In his free time, he likes to work on a variety of personal projects. One of which is his 3lb combat robot he is designing and building. He has been working on this project since Fall 2022, and will hopefully compete in his first competition in June. In addition to his personal projects, he is coaching a High School robotics team from Wake Forest, NC. They compete in the FIRST Tech Challenge competition where they have to design, build, and program a robot to perform a set of tasks. Caleb loves sharing his passion and what he has learned with others.

Ben Demosthene
Ben is pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in motorsports, graduating in Spring 2026. He is hoping to enter a career in motorsports working on national racing operations as a team engineer. Ben is from Pilesgrove, New Jersey, and his hobbies include go kart racing, playing guitar and piano, and recording/writing music. He is part of the Formula SAE team on campus, working on Vehicle Dynamics on the 2024 Formula SAE Design Team.

Holden Huffine
Holden is a well endowed man in many areas. One being his drive for exemplary operations. Here at DMBH, Mr. Huffine is the lead operator upholding the guaranteed satisfaction of our products. Ryan Monroe
Ryan Monroe is a mechanical engineering major graduating in Spring 2026. He is a member of the AIAA and Drone-Build-Fly Club. His hobbies include biking, kayaking, and hiking. Future plans include working as an aerospace engineer.
