About Us

We are Awesome Pools™, an organization on the rise to bring back the joy in having a pool without the hassle of cleaning it every other day. Our mission is to make all our products cheap, efficient, and reliable for all our happy customers. Quality comes first which is why our products are of a one-of-a-kind model made by experienced engineers. We go through all the detail so you can just sit back and relax. Our pilot equipment, the Amazing Skimmer, took off in March of 2019 and has produced a positive feedback from the community. Since then, our skimmer has gone through minor innovations and is back on the market for purchasing. Awesome Pools™ will release more pool equipment that reach our high standards throughout the summer.

Jonathan Salo

Jonathan Salo is a web designer for Awesome Pools and enjoys his work very much. He is currently pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering, which he hopes will help him further his career in developing superior pool equipment. His experience in the lifeguarding industry has aided in his success as a pool equipment specialist, and he not only understands the theory but knows first-hand the many issues of modern-day pool technology. Outside of the office, Jonathan enjoys hanging with friends, playing sports, and being outdoors.

Carlos Butz Monroy

Carlos is a mechanical engineer for Awesome Pools and is in charge of modifying and updating the website. In using his talents he is able to reverse engineer and fix many products. He has experience in swimming at different pools and looking at the different ways skimmers, pumps, and filters work. He also has experience in automotive construction and some experience with HVAC systems. When Carlos is not at work he plays electric guitar, draws, and studies a lot.

Tanner Gleaton

Tanner gleaton is the lead Cad designer at awesome pools. Tanner is attending University north carolina at charlotte in pursuit of a degree in mechanical engineering. His CAD related automotive experience aided him in designing a complex yet simple skimmer design. Besides engineering, Tanner enjoys being outdoors, playing tennis and rock climbing.

Darrick Romana

Darrick is an intern for Awesome Pools in hope to understand the usage of CAD designing and web designing outside a classroom environment. He is currently enrolled in the University of North Carolina Charlotte to pursue a mechanical engineering associate's degree and further down the line gain his masters at MIT. His desire in life is to own his own pool equipment industry and make every item automatic. Darrick enjoys reading pool magazines and swimming under the stars.
