Fayaz Suleman has been in the field of User Experience
(UX) since 2001 with demonstrated expertise in user-centered research
& design product and services development ranging from websites
& web-based apps, mac/window-based apps, mobile devices, embedded
software interfaces to hardware products across multiple industry domains
like Banking & Finance, Auto, Home and Health Insurance, Healthcare,
Manufacturing & Maintenance, Mailing & Postage, Information
Technology, Retail, and Telecommunication.
After finishing his Master of Science (Industrial Engineering
- Human Factors & Usability) with Thesis from Clemson University,
Clemson, South Carolina, USA, in 2003, he has been in the field of user-centered
design, HCI, user experience and worked for several fortune 100 company.
He has worked as a UX designer, researcher, and strategist and led initiatives
and product launches with multi-million dollar portfolios. One of his
projects at IBM, the Strategic Account Plan Program (ISAP) also won
the 2018 Gold Stevie Award for Innovative Collaborative Solution, where
he worked as Sr. UX Researcher & Designer and applied Design Thinking
Process. During his engagements at several organizations, he has groomed
and developed user-centered design center of excellence and contributed
towards best practices, processes, UI standards, and design patterns.
He was also a Silver Medalist - 2nd Rank, Bachelor of Engineering (Industrial
and Production), Karnataka University, INDIA, and was also awarded as
the "Best Graduating Student of the Department", Bachelor
of Engineering, for the academic year 1999-2000.
Life Outside Work: He enjoys volunteering work and in the past held
Vice President, Secretary of Non-Profits, which was an elected position.
He likes spending time with family and friends. Enjoys travel. movies,
documentaries, and food. Some of his hobbies include woodworking, modern
architecture, and drawing floor plans and home designs, and classic
cars from the 60s. His favorite is a 1965 Buick Riviera.
