At Pendeln, we want the opportunity for society to become accustomed to autonomous vehicle technology in a manner that represents helpfulness and friendliness.
We want to provide society a soft launch pad into the world and future of AVs to ease the hearts of those who are skeptical and show hesitation on the reliability and safety of AVTs.
Our impact on the environment matters. Providing solar and electric vehicles is our first step to a better world. Our philosophy is to enhance, not replace, existing technology to not only minimize waste but allow for an affordable transition to eco-friendly devices.
As of 2020, 3 in 4 Americans view AVTs as a technology that is not ready for widespread use(1).
The Bureau of Justice Statistics reveals that 10% of crime occurs in parking lots and parking garages with an estimated 80% of all crime occurring at places like strip malls, apartment complexes, and offices, in their parking lots (2).
In 2019 there were 925.5 million air passengers (3) and the airline industry precovid had a significantrevenue of $247.64 billion (4).

Driverless cars or autonomous cars or however you want to call it are vehicles capable of sensing its environment and operating without human involvement.
How does it work? These types of vehicles rely on sensors, actuators, complex algorithms, machine systems, and powerful processors. Our products are at a level 4 of Vehicle Autonomy, according to the 6 levels of Vehicle Autonomy.
The benefits of our products in general can be accessible for everyone, including the disabilities, elderly, and those who can’t drive.
It can reduce traffic congestion and reduce the carbon from the environment.
The drawbacks are that our products are prone to hacking, many competitions such as Uber and Lyft, and society view our products as distrustful.
People want to see more improvements and increased safety before seeing AVTs on the road or for widespread use. Many felt that they would be more inclined to ride an AV in a smaller setting, such as a parking lot.
We are looking for ways to make this type of technology more affordable for the average joe. We don't want this technology to be just for the elite, we want it for all. By providing the product on larger scales to companies instead of the average consumer, we could achieve this.
The future will see robots and technology change our daily life but it will not replace them. Our products still require human intellect, compassion, and creativity.
