Sharing knowledge through talks, workshops, and educational content on AI, robotics, and software engineering — and through mentoring students who have not usually been given a way in. Much of my teaching has been in medical AI, where the gap between a working model and a clinically useful one is the most interesting thing to teach.
Mentored a cohort of ten high-school students through the Medical AI track. The syllabus ran from advanced linear algebra and machine-learning fundamentals through to deploying real Medical-AI systems, finishing with zero-shot medical image classifiers built on BiomedCLIP and SmolVLM.
Mentored students through UNC Charlotte's STEM internship program, plus mentoring through Polygence and Ardrey Kell High School. The through-line is the same: inclusive, impactful AI learning built around projects students actually care about.
