What is division? Division is an algorithm that is defined by the operations multiplication and addition. Well, you might be thinking, "I was taught that division was an operation!" Yes, that is what we were all taught growing up; but first, let's take a look at subtraction. Really, subtraction is just adding two numbers with a catch: the second one was multiplied by @@-1@@; namely @@a - b = a + b(-1)@@... But why do we care? Well, for subtraction we don't get anything really cool from this definition, but with division we are given two really important quantities: the quotient and the remainder
The dividend, divisor, quotient, and remainder are the same as they always were:

Our next topic is the Greatest Common Divisor (GCD). This is another familiar topic, defined by its name... literally The GCD of two (or more) integers is the largest number that divides all of them

In the past, we might have calculated the GCD by guessing and checking, but there is actually a nice algorithm, the Euclidean Algorithm, which is used to compute the GCD of two integers. The Euclidean Algorithm is essentially a recursive version of the Division Algorithm, defined as follows:

There are a couple important conventions to discuss when it comes to Boolean Algebra: one of them is how the @@+@@, @@*@@, and @@'@@ operators are defined

Just like Formal Logic, Boolean Algebra uses expressions. A Boolean expression consists of several components that have individual truth values which can be evaluated by a compound expression.
