Detail:This project had three main goals, formulated in the following tasks:
1. Task 1: Persuasion in online communication – automation and counteraction. The objective of this task is to study persuasion in online communication, both how it arises and how it affects others.
2. Task 2: CompSocSci workshop and roadmap document. The objective is to assist ARL in setting the scope and direction of the Computational Social Science program as outlined in the background section.
3. Task 3: Cross-cultural conflicts modeling via social media. The objective is to conduct new research into understanding the dynamics of regional conflicts through online social media. This task will start in Year 1 and continue into Year 2.
