  • The time of the final exam was determined when we met at the second exam.
  • The final midterm exam is Saturday, May 8 from 10:00 to 12:30 pm in Woodward 140. This is an open book, open notes exam. Cell phones, computers, PDAs, friends, or any other assistive tool may not be brought into the room.

Cell phones, computers, PDAs, friends, or any other assistive tool may not be brought into the room. The time of the final exam will be determined when we meet at the second exam. Please bring your calendars to the April 9 test date.

  • Welcome to ECE 4101/5101!  The first week of class starts Monday, January 11, 2010.  You can now get a head start by viewing the class lectures from the notes page.
  • Homework Assignment 1 is Due Friday, January 15, 2010 at 5 pm.
  • Please take the time to read the class syllabus.
  • The lab assignments will use the Renesas QSK62P Plus Evaluation Board.  Each student be required to purchase one.  Visit www.digikey.com or other on-line sites to purchase on (about $70, 867-1000-ND).
  • This course uses video of lectures recorded during the Fall 2009 semester. You will be expected to view the lectures before completing homework and lab assignments, so make sure you keep up with them. The professor uses transparencies to teach this class. You can download them and print them from the web before viewing the lectures. See the web for the course lecture outline and specific video lectures. The lectures are LARGE (2-3 GBytes per day), so you should view these on campus and on a MOSAIC machine when possible. The only tool we know of that will play these is VLC, available on MOSAIC or free download.
