About Our Chapter
"In May 2018, Faith and I embarked on a service trip to the Dominican Republic with Wine To Water. For a week, we lived and work on-site at the factory, sifting sawdust, mixing clay, and molding filters to be fired in the kiln. We taught lessons on sanitation in the local schools and distributed water filters to the community. The people we interacted with, both in the factory and in the surrounding town, were incredibly gracious and patient, welcoming us with open arms into their community. We left the Dominican Republic inspired, wanting to do more to help."

In September 2018, Wine To Water UNCC was founded as a chapter of Wine To Water and student organization at UNC Charlotte.
We are a dedicated group of students from diverse backgrounds with the common desire of bettering our community and world. We aim to accomplish this goal by raising awareness of the global water crisis, serving alongside local and global efforts, and raising funds in support of Wine To Water. As a student club, we serve as one of the initial avenues for passionate individuals to learn about and connect with Wine To Water.
