I’m proud to announce that this picture might be AI.
- Personal Background: Born in Charlotte, North Carolina—been here my whole life.
- Academic Background: Got my associate’s degree in game design back in 2019. Then hit a plot twist—pivoted to computer science. Now I’m pursuing a B.S. in CS as of 2023 and currently holding a perfect 4.0 (let’s hope calculus doesn’t have other plans).
- Professional Background: Spent four years doing 3D graphics design until COVID caused contract work to disappear. Took a detour into dairy duty at Harris Teeter, then upgraded to a TA for UNCC. Now guiding students through ITSC2214 - Data Structures & Algorithms.
- Background in this subject: I speak Python, Java, C, C#, and RISC-V assembly—just your friendly neighborhood coding polyglot.
- Primary Computer Platform: Custom-built desktop running Windows 10.
- MATH 1242 - Calculus 2: The big bad boss battle of my degree. Taking other electives purely to give myself a fighting chance against it.
- ITSC1110 - Introduction to Computer Science Principles: Just an easy elective to stack credits, hoping it stays low-maintenance while I focus on calculus.
- ITSC3160 - Database and Design Implementation: Wanted web design, got databases instead thanks to registration timing. At least ITSC1110 will sprinkle in some web content.
- FILM1502 - Introduction to Film and Media Art: Another elective chosen for its minimal workload—because, again, all roads lead back to surviving calculus.
- Funny/Interesting Item to Remember me by: Came to university with only 4th-grade math skills. Now wrestling with advanced calculus like it's a full-body workout.
