I’m Felix and I’m from Wake Forest, North Carolina. I’m majoring in mechanical engineering, because I’ve always had a passion for STEM related novelties. Ironman is my favorite avenger, robotics was my sport, and of course I grew up
with Legos. In MEGR 2156, I would like to design a solar panel and an energy storage unit. My inspiration comes from always going over my electricity bill, but I also enjoy projects involving renewable energy.
During construction I would have to consider cost, size, voltage, and environment of my project to ensure that it doesn’t blow up or become another ugly desk ornament. I’m currently most interested in taking solids, in-part because
I don’t want to fail and being interested increases my engagement, but also because I find fascinating; the logic behind materials and structures.
My strengths include being compassionate, ambitious, and energetic. My bucket
list is always changing, but the biggest ones on my list are graduating, being debt free, supporting my parents, and maybe buying a Z06.
I believe that everything has a connection regardless of its ambiguity. There is never
a time where I’ve had an experience that I felt had no meaning which goes along with the saying that “everything happens for a reason”. I have a dog named Max and he’s my best friend.
One thing that I learned from this assignment
that I didn’t know previously was overlapping components. It took me a while just to figure out how to make the welcome tab under the navigation bar appear in front of the carousel. This assignment took 2 hours to complete.
