Wrote numerous automated data ingest routines and monitoring scripts that feed real-time web-based products and services. Key developer for a real-time precipitation alert system that has won national awards.
Heavily involved with the modernization and expansion of the North Carolina mesonet program (NC ECONet) and led the development of a real-time quality control system for the network. This high-quality observational dataset is utilized in research, extension, and education activities across North Carolina.
